What is PLAAGG?
PLAAGG is a business operating platform for African small and medium businesses. It provides an industry-ready workspace for dental clinics, hardware shops, wines & spirits shops, solar companies, car washes and tax, accounting and advisory firms, covering stock, point of sale, customers, patients, leads, jobs, clients, invoices, payments, team and reports in one place.
Who is PLAAGG for?
PLAAGG is for owners and staff of dental clinics, hardware and building-materials shops, wines & spirits shops, solar installation companies, car washes and tax, accounting and advisory practices, starting in Kenya. Each industry gets its own workspace with the modules that business actually uses.
How much does PLAAGG cost?
Every plan starts with a free trial of 30 working days and no card. After that PLAAGG costs KES 2,500 a month for Starter (one branch, three people), KES 5,000 for Growth (up to three branches and ten people, plus purchase orders, transfers, stock counts and trade accounts) or KES 12,000 for Scale (unlimited branches and people, advanced reports, priority support). Enterprise is quoted for groups and chains. Pay month by month with M-Pesa or card; pause or cancel any time.
Is PLAAGG a mobile app?
Yes. PLAAGG installs on Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows and Mac straight from plaagg.com/download, with its own icon, full-screen use and quick unlock by PIN, Face ID or fingerprint. It is also fully usable in any modern browser.
How do I sign up for PLAAGG?
Go to plaagg.com, choose your industry, and create an account with your name, work email and a password. A six-step onboarding then prepares the workspace: business details, branches, team invitations and optional connections. It takes a few minutes.
Does PLAAGG work with M-Pesa?
Yes. PLAAGG records cash, M-Pesa, card and credit tenders at the point of sale, and supports online collection through the IntaSend payment gateway, which a business connects with its own gateway account in Settings.
Is my business data safe on PLAAGG?
Each business's data is isolated at the database level with row-level security, encrypted in transit and at rest, and protected by rate limits, account lockout, device pairing and an optional country restriction. Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes, and the installed app keeps no business data on the phone. Details are in the security policy at plaagg.com.
Can several staff use PLAAGG on one till?
Yes. Every staff member has their own login and role. On a shared phone or till, colleagues switch between each other with a PIN or fingerprint after signing in once, and every sale and change is recorded against the person who made it.
Which countries does PLAAGG serve?
PLAAGG is built in Kenya for Kenya and East Africa first, with prices in Kenyan shillings and M-Pesa support. It is hosted globally and works anywhere with an internet connection; a business can restrict its own workspace to chosen countries.
Does PLAAGG work offline?
No. PLAAGG needs an internet connection so that stock, sales and patient data always live on the server rather than on a device. The installed app opens instantly and shows an honest offline page when the connection drops.
